  • Preschool Teacher

    Job Description: Preschool Teachers at MDOW lead a classroom of children ages 2–5, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Teachers collaborate closely with families and colleagues to provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Planning and leading daily lessons and play experiences

    • Supporting children's developmental milestones

    • Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

    • Communicating regularly with families

    • Maintaining a safe and organized classroom

    Qualifications:

    • 90-hour childcare certification required

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

    • Prior early childhood experience strongly preferred

  • Teaching Assistant

    Job Description: Teaching Assistants support lead teachers in the classroom by engaging with children, assisting with classroom routines, and helping implement play-based activities. This role is ideal for individuals who are nurturing, dependable, and eager to learn more about early childhood education.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with classroom management and routines

    • Supervising and interacting with children

    • Preparing materials and setting up activities

    • Supporting children’s independence and emotional development

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Experience with young children preferred

    • Must be reliable, patient, and collaborative
